Why did Zora Neale Hurston fight with Langston Hughes?

Zora Neale Hurston was a political conservative, a life long Republican and that was contrary to what Langston Hughes believed was best for the black community. He was also critical of her writings, feeling that she demeaned the black community by writing in dialect.
