Atheists : Why do you say "all religions are bad "?

I personally have never said that 'all religions are bad', and although I'm at risk of some generalisation here, none of the people I regularly talk to and are self-proclaimed atheists have anything against religion. Although religion has never appealed to me, I have an interest and respect for people who are religious. I don't view any religion as intrinsically bad in itself, I believe that a small minority in each are the ones who make that particular religion doubtful in the eyes of others.
