Toilet trouble please help!?

I need ur help fast! I rent my house and after I put my christmas tree up the other day my 22 month old son must of got one of the ornaments off the tree and flushed it down the toilet.It was one of those big round that u hang on the tree. I don't want to call my landlord cause he will have a dam fit. What should I do? I have plunged the hell out of it and I stuck a clothes hanger up in there and still can't get it.
