Why is my son is having social problems with girls?

If he had a girlfriend and she broke up with him, maybe it hurt him more then you or anybody knows. and after that its hard to date someone else. after my true love (at 14) broke my heart i just couldn't date anyone for a while cause i didn't trust them. i say give it time and he'll find a girl. and i don't think he has social problems either, give it a little bit and then see where everyone is.
