Could this be a sinus infection?

About 2 weeks ago I got a fever that lasted about 5 days. It wasn't the flu, and I felt really off-balance constantly. I don't have a fever now, but I still feel off-balance, though not as much as before. Also until recently, I had a headache for 5 days straight in the back and top of my head that was either tingly, or pressure. Occasionally it was in my forehead. Its still here a little bit, but not as much as before. Also, my ears feel kind of full, almost like when you get out of the pool and shake your head around and it almost sloshes but not quite....lastly, my eyelids are a little swollen and don't hurt, but have been swollen for a little while. I'm not really congested, but could this be a sinus infection or other sinus-related problems...???

No. Try to think more positive. Wake up and say this is a good day for doing stuff, like going out. Helps if it is sunny for me. A nice sunny day makes me feel alive and ready to go. In all seriousness, he was being VERY disrespectful in a childish way as an adult & also a father no less! Had it been one of my children, I would have been far more respectful & even asked if I could be of any help. My Daughter is going to college for teaching, I've also gone to college for an engineering degree, so KNOW how important it is to be prepared for your subjects in order to do your best. I help her EVERY DAY with her homework & am proud she's on the honor roll! I feel HE should take his words he said to you regarding "respect" & LEARN the true meaning of them as they go BOTH ways, he sure is NO exception. To be honest I can't blame you for your feelings as to the way he mistreated you. This IS one hard decision to make as I feel YOU were in the rite! However, since it was your father who you are "suppose to show respect to/for", I guess the best thing would be to say you were under a LOT of pressure knowing this was a very important final you were studying for & that's all you had on your mind at that time. Due to this fact was the reason I got upset because I was trying to study for this important test & was unable to concentrate properly with the radio playing so loudly. Thus the reason for me loosing my temper. In a way you're explaining the reason for the "blow up", but in a way you're not apologizing to him for his lack of respect to you. This is the way I would handle it as I truly don't feel you do owe him an apology, but at least you're not "brushing it under the rug" so to speak, you're acknowledging the incident & I feel in this case is all that's necessary. My friend and her student payments?

I know this girl who is currently 16 and is getting $210 every month or something from the government to pay for school fees. Aswell as this, she has a job earning about $10-$12 (casual) an hour and cannot live by herself if she had to. Her dad is in another country and doesnt have to pay money or something, there is a reason, but her mom does absolutely nothing and is on the dole. she gets about enough to live on with her and my friend, but she also takes my friends student payments and says she needs them to help live and pay for stuff. My friend has asked for these back from her mom, but her mom threatens to kick her out if she doesnt get them. Sure, she could live at her grandparent's place, but they have no internet for study and stuff like that, plus live quite a bit away from school. Her mom sits there playing runescape or something all day, no job, no housework or a bare minimum so ive been told, and is capable of work i think, even a part time desk job or something. i have done the math and she would earn over 4 times the amount she currently gets, plus my friend will get her payments. From the food she eats and bills, i have roughly calculated their bills and stuff to be payable with her dole amount aswell, but i dunno if there are other payments to be made or something. Is taking these payments legal, and can she really be blackmailed into giving these up to her mom at the threat of being kicked out? I'm just curious if this is allowed or not, and my friend only uses the internet for study. We are not sure if it's normal or allowed =/

Terrapin - or gland?

My terrapin is having a little trouble shedding some of the loose shell on his back and my vet suggested that I help sc it off. What is wrong with my 1999 isuzu trooper?

Just today I replaced my catalytic converter and the alternator because of rpm, stalling,not wanting to "go" and white smoke issues. It took the mechanic 3 days to come to the conclusion that this was the reason for it. As soon as I got my truck back the check oil light was on and it has a knocking sound, neither of these were present before. The mechanic is now saying that it is a motor issue. Most of the fresh fruits and vegetables my husband and I have been eating for the past six months or so have been organic. However, I've been so busy the past few weeks I haven't made it to my regular store and I've been buying regular melons gs, and pineapple. We've had some very weird reactions. The pineapple literally burned my mouth (we normally eat organic pineapple once or twice a week) to where I got a sore spot and the melon, on two occions, had a weird taste, almost a fizz, that we both noticed. The gs I washed thoroughly with produce soap but they had a weird, stringent taste and after about fifteen minutes after eating a handful I got a sharp headache and I rarely get headaches. Is it possible that, since we've been ingesting fewer pesticides by buying mostly organic fruits and veggies, that we've become sensitized to them now? It's the only thing I can think of to explain these reactions.

Which books & softwares are good for learning Korean?

I learn the basic korean alphabet (hangul) consonants, double consonants, vowels, compound vowels etc. through youtube videos and other various websites that I found through google. There are 2 scenes in the movie where the t1000 Sprints behind John Conner and the good terminator.. Both those scene's he is able to keep up with car's, at the end of the movie, uming he's been chasing Conner for a while and this is his 4th chance to kill him, why did he just patiently walk behind them? He is really nice to me and is very easy going.The most we have done in the past few yrs is go to dinner,movies and two comedy shows.His mother basically raises his son. She takes and picks him up from school because my boyfriend works a job from 6-5pm.He doesnt even try to adjust his life to fit being a single parent.,He puts the responsiblity on his mother. So when weekends come we have no sitter.Since is is boring to begin with he never has suggestions on things to do w/a kid. We just rent redbox movies every weekend and go out for lunch and /or dinner. most frid and sat we are in the house for the evening by 5 or 7pm!. In my last relationship we hung out late and clubbed and went to museums and bowling, bars etc however as I mentioned had that dark side.Sometimes we go to the wine vineyard which or course is my suggestion and we ususally go to the liquor store .sometimes I would like to go out for drinks but we cant w/a kid.I feel a certain kinda way about his son bec he nor his daughter should be here.They were both a product of his cheating. My boyfriend never sees his daughter,he just pays child support.I have never even met her in 2 yrs now..He is extemely verbally abusive to his son and beats him sometimes. The child is petrified of him and acts like a robot around him.He's a good kid and its sad.I dont have any kids. I just feel like this kid who isnt my responsibilty is too much burden on my life.I don't want to be bothered bec I dont have too. For the past yr he has talked about marriage saying we must belong together after meeting back up w/no communication for 7 yrs.I think it was just concidence ,,personally. He talks about us having kids after marriage and that he wouldnt treat them like he does his son bec he would want them.Thats awful to say about his son and I have told him so. How can he love and treat another child well if he cant do that to the kids on earth now. I've tried to ist him on single father counseling but he just acts interested and never follows through. Is this a pearl i found?

I found a very shiny, purple and white "pearl" on Huntington Beach California. Im not even sure if it is a pearl because i did not find it in an oyster shell. I found it in the sand not far from shore. It wasn't even wet. I don't think it can be a marble because of the small scratch on the side that goes through the first layer. Seeing as acceleration is the change in velocity over time, anything with NO force acted upon it would NOT be acceleration. Moving in a straight line at a constant speed means that it would be encountering Gravitational forces and Air Friction, which both in turn would mean the object would have to keep Accelerating to stay constant. Moving on a turn is the same principal, it has to accelerate to keep the object in a uniform circle. Moving in a gravitational field with no air resistance means that no acceleration would occur, due to no friction.

Laptop shuts off before battery even gets low?

I have an HP laptop, and recently when it is not plugged in it will shut off randomly. It would shut off at maybe 30-40% battery life. When it was newer it would shut off on the brink of the battery actually being empty. When it would die at 30-40%, I would try to turn it back on and it wouldn't. Its as if the battery has actually died, when it hasn't. What can I do to fix this? This laptop is only about a year old now.

It sounds to me like you are taking wonderful care of your little guy, and he sounds fine. Not all cats have the same appetite. As long as he doesn't completely stop peeing and pooping, or eating, and is not showing any signs of illness, like crying when he pees or lethargy, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have found that my orange tabby Lilly ate much less food when she was by herself and more when she had Kitty Kitty for competition!

I have pains like early labour pains but im not pregnant!?

How do I lower my phosphate level in my fish tank and get rid of the cloudiness?

I have a 55gal tank with tetra, platies, mollies, glfish and cories and i am having problems with my phosphate level. Its reading very high 10ppm. I tested the water i use for water changes and it has lower levels of phosphate in it (1-2ppm). Water changes dont seem to help the cloudiness to much. I feed my fish once a day and do a 20% water change once a week. I recently added a phos-zorb filter to my filter media but the cloudiness doesnt seem to be going away. Its not milky cloudy but it is cloudy. Any suggestions as to what I could do to get rid of the cloudiness? The tank has been set up since august so I dont feel like it would be a bacteria bloom.

My 3 month old baby boy...?

My son is 3 months old and weighs 12 pounds. He was born 2 weeks early and weighed 7-6 at birth. He is the smallest of all my babies and I am forever finding that I am comparing his weight to other babies. It is crazy, and I can't seem to help it. he seems so tiny to me..even though my family tells me how big he is now and the doctor says that he is very much in proportion and normal for him. He has reflux and so sometimes dosn't feel like eating much and it drives me crazy. I keep thinking that he is going to stop gaining and wilt away. Eat around 1200-1500 calories a day, cut out all junk food, and eat small little meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going. Keep on walking at least 5 miles a day and you should lose a lot of weight soon. My dad lost around 13 lbs in 2 months just from walking and watching his diet, because he's diabetic. Now, he's on his way to looking slimmer and he's lost a few pounds since then.

What is a normal blood sugar level for a 3 year old?

Ok Diabetes runs on both sides of our family. My husband was diagnosed 2 years ago. I never really noticed until the other day that he has been drinking and urinating more frequently. He has been this way for a few weeks now but I never notice it until recently. So today my 3 year old son ate 2 pop tarts 16 grams of sugar a piece and 1 juice box 15 grams of sugar in that. So all together he had 46 grams of sugar. After a half hour of eating and drinking that I tested his blood sugar level and it was 243. Is that normal for a 3 year old? He is not dehydrated, lethargic, does not have bed wetting problems. He has had a runny nose the last couple days but that's it. He acts normal. It's like I give him a gl of juice (sugar free) and then like 20 minutes later he is saying he is still thirsty and this goes on all day. I tell him to wait a little bit and then I'll give him more. Also he downs his drink within minutes like he can't get enough to drink. Am I just being a worried mother or is this something serious?

My Contractor failed to obtain building permits to remodel my home now the work is going bad where do I stand?

Help, I had a contractor recently remodel my basement as well as other ares of my home, now the sewer they changed is backing up almost every couple of months, the plastering they did is cracking along with with other major and minor problems. About 3/4 of the way of the remodeling being completed a complaint to the buildings department by a terminated employee resulted in me finding out the contractor never obtained proper permits or consulted an architect to conduct the demolition for my home improvement. This contractor plays dumb when I tell him the plumbing they did is bad. They are avoiding the issue at hand by side stepping. The weird part of this ordeal is that the Sewer and Drain company they use to unclog my sewer also agreed this contractor made bad connections or their term a bad cross connection causing this sewer to frequently back up to the point the toilets over flow causing internal damage to the newly installed sheetrock that now has buckled. In an attempt to cover up their error the contractor stated he fired the salesman who set up the contract and who never got the proper building permits. I questioned the owner stating don't you review your newly obtained contracts before starting a new job making sure the proper doents are in order of course the abba dabba talk kicked in. What would happen if I reported this and to who should I report them to now that i'm having these reoccurring problems caused by this contractor. My home is my castle and I spent a lot of money and i'm tired of all of this grief. They come and fix some of the errors but states the house is setteling thats why there are cracks in the plastering and corking that was done due to a railroad that runs past my home. I say this is just shoddy work done for under a years time in my opinion. My contract is still under warranty with them what can I do. If someone can guide me in the right direction to get this matter resolved I would be grateful. Thank you all in advance.

Why does my car shake even when I hit small bumps in the road.?

'99 Plymouth Neon coolant leak, car won't start?

My friend and I were driving today in his 1999 Plymouth Neon when we heard what sounded like something dragging under the car after he went over a set of railroad tracks. You could hear whatever it was catching wind and making a whistle noise. He pulled over to look under the car but the sound stopped a HUGE pool of coolant started leaking out. He said his car was overheating the other day and he put coolant in it and it was fine. We tried to get home immediately but, once again upon going over the same railroad tracks, his car overheated to the max and shut off. It's obvious something happened with the coolant system but he's afraid that he messed up his engine. It will make noise but not turn over. Could it be a blown head gasket, or maybe a hose that burst? What are the chances of this messing up his engine? Not necessarily. Taking the pill to aviod menstruation can really mess up your cycle. The same thing happened to me..although I'm 27. There's a blood test that they can do that will detect a certain hormone. That hormone will show how many eggs you have left and are therefore close to menopause. So...check with a doctor and get a blood test. It's probably just irregular cycles after going off the pill...but the blood test will be able to tell you for sure.

I beg the difference between DVD player and DVD player H-Def 1080p up-conversion. Which one should I keep?

I got one DVD player and the other DVD player H-Definition 1080p up-conversion. Both of them seem to play the regular DVDs. I have both tube TV and LCD flat panel HDTV. The regular DVD says progressive scan. But the other says it has such function, and only works when it is turned on. Each time it is turned on the regular TV, it will be turned off. I just wonder if the regular DVD player works in reinforced manner even if the TV is incompatible with progressive scan. How does one know if the TV is compatbile with the progressive scan?

I believe its because most teens, well most people, are very influenced by what they see on tv, online and what they hear from their friends. A lot of people forgot how to think for themselves i suppose. You get a few guilty feeling meat-eaters saying they "need" meat because they'd die from lack of protein without it. Then that gets spread around and you get a lot of teens actually believing it. Or their favourite celeb becomes a vegetarian and then its the latest trend and you get tweens following something they dont know sh*t about. I mean, im glad that more and more people are going veg, but then you get dumb sh*ts saying they are anorexic because of it, which will make those gullible people believe you wither away and die without eating a dead animals carc. He is having a horrible season and isn't that much of a TD threat at all and is way less punishing then Brandon Jacobs. I've tried skateboarding, but I can't even ollie after tons of practicing. Last time I put on a pair of skates was when I was little, but I'm really into aggressive inline. So, I was wondering if maybe I could get moderately ok at inline to just the minor point of it being an enjoyable hobby, as opposed to just frustrating. My one friend has inline awards and was sponsored, but he can't skateboard at all. So, I'm thinking of trying it out again. Do you think it's easier to pick up inline?
